Gummy Cuckoo

For this Chalet style cuckoo clock painting,  I worked at getting a good balance of whites and pinks, without it becoming a jumble or an eyesore.  I tried to really let the pinks take center stage but the delicate whites lace it like sugar.  I love the vintage frame and am really happy with the way the colors of the old yellowed mat look with the image.  Also the frame is made of a beautiful soft grey.
