Cuckoo Bernaise

This cuckoo drawing combines a vintage food stamp, my grocery list from two weeks ago, and an old sheet of yellowed music.  I was learning to make ‘Steak Bernaise’ and was trying out tarragon for the first time. (You will notice it on the list). The challenge was to compose something to suit this odd gold frame, which I undertook with relish.
